  • 1 kg pork with fat (choose pork liempo or pork belly)
  • 445 ml bagoong alamang (shrimp paste)
  • 3 minced chili pepper
  • 4 diced small-sized tomatoes
  • 2 minced small-sized onion
  • 1 1/4 crushed head garlic
  • 100 ml water
  • 120 ml vinegar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar

How to make pork binagoongan

  • cut pork into bite-sized
  • place the pork into a large deep pot
  • add in water
  • boil under low heat until the water evaporates
  • when you notice oil coming out from the pork, fry the pork until lightly crispy
