Ingredients for lemons and mangoes pickles recipe

  • 1 kg quartered lemons

  • 4 green mangoes

  • 13 halved lengthwise green chilies

  • 250 ml lemon juice

  • 400 ml mustard oil

  • 1 tablespoons cumin powder

  • 1 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder

  • 1 teaspoons chili powder

  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 3 1/2 tablespoons salt

How to make Lemon And Mango Pickle

  • peel and dice the unripe mangoes

  • put the chilies, lemon juice, lemons and mangoes in a big bowl

  • add spices, salt and sugar

  • put the mixture into a big glass jar

  • cover the glass jar loosely with a cloth

  • leave the glass jar in the sun for one week

  • heat oil to smoking point
