  • 115 g beef

  • 290 g beefsteak mushrooms

  • 8 scallions, white part only

  • 8 bamboo skewers

Ingredients for sauce to make songi sanjeok

  • 1 1/4 teaspoon brown sugar

  • 1/3 teaspoon sesame oil

  • 1 1/4 tablespoon rice wine

  • 1/3 teaspoon salt

  • 2 1/4 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 clove crushed garlic

  • 1 1/2 teaspoon minced scallion

  • 1 1/4 teaspoon sesame seeds

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper

How to make Korean grilled beef and mushroom skewers

  • mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a small mixing bowl

  • cut the beef, mushrooms and scallions into even-sized strips

  • thread the strips through the bamboo skewer

  • carry out this procedure until the ingredients is used up

  • use a light brush to brush the sauce on the skewered ingredients
