  • 7 small-sized tomatoes (English tomatoes)

  • 4 cooled and peeled hard-boiled eggs

  • 10 ml chopped parsley

  • 6 ml garlic paste

  • 80 ml mayonnaise

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley for garnishing

  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • salt to taste

How to make Stuffed Tomatoes

  • wash tomatoes with running water

  • skin the tomatoes

  • cut out the tomato's core and make a '+' incision on the other end

  • bring water to boil in a saucepan

  • put in the tomatoes for ten seconds

  • remove and put into a bowl filled with iced water

  • this is done to stop the tomatoes from cooking

  • slice the tops off the tomatoes

  • set aside the tops
